Antiparos is a Cycladic island of the Aegean Sea. The island's economy is based on tourism, fishing, livestock farming. It is known for its characteristic Cycladic beauty with white houses, stone-paved alleys and beautiful bougainvilleas that flourish in the yards of the houses.
Antiparos is a small rocky island inhabited by the South Aegean in the heart of the Cyclades, less than a nautical mile from Paros, the harbor of which is connected to a small local ferry. In the island of Saliagos is the oldest settlement of the Cyclades, as well as the Despotic, uninhabited island at the southwest of Antiparos, a place of great archaeological importance.
